What is sun tan?
Sun heat dehydrates the skin which is the core reason of tanning. Science defines the suntan in the words “it is the act exposing the skin to UV radiation for the purpose of darkening skin color.” skin darkens due to sun exposure. UV damages the melanin in the skin. Melanin is a pigment which gives color to skin.
Sun tanning effects
Tan skin from the sun causes many of dangerous skin diseases. Skin loses its immune function. It causes the wrinkles on the skin. Mottled pigmentation is produced on the skin which is also known as skin discoloration. Sun tanning causes the yellow and brown discoloration of the skin, which is called sallowness. Sun tanning causes damage the eyes. The most dangerous effect of sun tanning is the skin cancer.

Potato Slices: Take a potato, cut it into slices. Apply these slices on the face, neck, arms, and other parts of the body which are darken due to the sun rays. This will reduce the suntan from the skin.
Barely Flour: Barely flour is very useful to get rid of tan skin from the sun. Take barley flour, yogurt and tomato juice. Mix these all. Now apply it on the neck and arms for twenty minutes. Wash the face after twenty minutes with cold water.
Honey: Take one teaspoon of honey, one teaspoon of lemon juice, one teaspoon of powder milk, and half teaspoon of almond oil. Mix these all in a pot. Apply this mixture on the body for fifteen minutes. Take a bath with cold water after that.
Mask: Here is mask to lighten the tan skin. Take one table spoon of Barely flour. Mix one table spoon gram flour in it, three table spoon of yogurt. Prepare face mask by mixing the barely flour and gram flour in the yogurt. Apply this mask on the parts of the bodies which are affected by the sun light. Use this mask for twenty days. You get a desired result within a week.
Cream: To lighten the dark area of the body you can make simple cream. Buy alpha hydroxyl cream (twenty gram) which is available on all medical stores. Grind one lemon with its skin. Rose is needed. If your skin sensitive and if rose water causes the skin allergy then you can skip this. Take four to five vitamin E capsules. Take a bit amount of petroleum jelly. Now mix all the ingredients. It will form into cream. Apply this cream on face and on body. Your tan skin will get brighter in few days.
Precautions: Here are some precautions to protect your body parts from the sun rays.
Eyes: Simply closing wearing outdoor glasses while tan is not adequate protection against possible long-term eye injury.
Lips: Lips don’t produce melanin and they will easily unless they are not protected with lip balms.
Moisturize your skin:
The heat and light from the tanning session can dry your skin, because moist skin tans best. It is recommended moisturize your skin using lotions specifically developed for indoor tanning before and after each tanning session to get the most out of each session.
Medication: If you take medicines please check with pharmacist because some medicines can cause reactions with UV rays.
Don’t try to tan if you sunburned unless redness completely subsides.
