5 Best Nail Art Design Ideas 2016

If I am planning to go out to hang with my friends or on a date night or a formal occasion and my nails are not painted i feel incomplete and i am pretty sure most of you girls feel pretty much the same. That’s right! Going out without nails painted and prim is an utter No, No! in today’s trendy world. There are just so many ways to dress your nails nowadays. Specially through last few years, nail art techniques have grown so much from simple two color combos to complex geometric shapes and decals and embellishments and so much more.

Here are a few ideas for your nail art that you can follow this year and rock your look:

1- Marble effect nails:

Marble effect nails

This is a super easy yet super trendy nail art design. Ever seen the marble floors? Yes this is exactly the kind of effect that i am talking about. All you have to do is get a base coat of some light nail color, apply it as the base. Then get a darker color (it will look pretty cool if the color is a darker shade of the base coat) paint a plastic wrap with it and apply that wrap to the base coat on your nails but be sure that the base coat has dried out before you apply the wrap or it will be a mess.

2- Odd-One-Out!

Odd-One-Out

Clumsy hands like mine?? you simply need not worry. Here is an easy nail art design for you that has never gone out of fashion and never will. It is a very handy way to dress your nails without putting in too much hardwork. All you have to do is paint all your nails with the same color of your choice except for the ring finger nail. That would be your odd one out. You can add rhinestones to it or fur or glitter or you can simply paint it with another colour that’s complimentary to the other color you used.

3- Christmas around the Corner:

Christmas around the Corner

There are a lot of dinners and parties coming your way with the Christmas just around the corner. You can add a little holiday spirit to your look by painting candy canes on your nails or painting your nails in the design of Santa Claus. It will add up to your Christmas spirit and to be honest candy canes look cute even out of season because they depict girliliness.

4- Ombre nails:

Ombre nails

Ombre has been a great trend for hair colour all last year but who knew that can be applicable to nails too? Well this is correct. The most famous nail trend that will be seen coming year is ombre nails. All you have to do is get two shades of nail colours on a plate and merge them slightly in the mid line, dip a sponge with em and press the sponge on your nails to get the super cool ombre effect. Be sure to apply a base coat on your nails first to get a perfect finish.

5- Galaxy Nails:

Galaxy Nails

Are you one of those astrology nerds or simply in love with the universe? Then this is a perfect hot nail art trend for you. It is not very complex to make it just requires a correct balance of colors particularly among dark and light colors in this nail art design to get the perfect galaxy pattern. Mostly you’ll need dark blues and black colors for this nail art. You can add a bil of white or silver for the stars and add a little glitter on it. You can use a star or planet decal to make this design more alive.

    Hello Ms. Hira,

I am 25 and I have a combination of Icepick and boxcar acne scars on my face. They look very bad as they are quite deep and large. Could you please suggest some home remedy to lighten up and reducing the deepness of these scars ? When I stretch my skin they are less visible.

Please suggest some good home methods to lighten up these scars, I will be thankful to you.

You can’t get rid of them, but you can make them less noticeable by cleaning them out wash your face and use pore strips occasionally
Depending on how severe the scars are there are many different treatment that you can try. Milder flat scars with basically just discolouration you could try a bleaching cream. If the scars are slightly more severe or you want to get rid of them a bit faster you could try chemical peels, If scars are really severe or you have hypertrophic or keloid scarring which is raised scarring then you could try chemical peels, laser resurfacing, scar revision (which is surgery when the entire scar is cut out and skin sew back together similiar to skin graphs). Punch grafting if it is icepick scaring which is the like scar revision. Or again if it is keliod scaring (raised scars) steriod injection directly into the scar can help flatten it over time. All of these treatment would be performed by a cosmetic surgeon and can be quite pricey.
If your scars are’nt very severe then you could try chemical peels at home they can be bought quite cheaply, are simple to do and for milder peels such as gylcolic, lactic, and fruit acid peels there is no down time. TCA peels can also be performed at home but i would’nt recommend them for a first time user. If you want to try the peels start off with the milder ones. TCA also has a recovery period of about a week when the skin is actually peeling, whereas the milder peels don’t actually peel they are just a deep exfoliation, so they basically just speed up the skins natural process. They also leave skin looking great just like a facial. Once your more experienced with the peels you could then try TCA for a deeper peel. Also Gycolic acid and fruit acid peels also shrink the pores for upto a few days after you have used it. heres a few websites with some info on and where to buy. Good luck, Hope this Helps

Hi Hira, I love all of the nail art designs that you shared in this article. They are all easy to do, simple and fashionable. It is true that our nails should always be clean and fashionable. I agree with you that we feel both naked if I don’t make my nail done, even we have short nails we can also apply nail polish as well.
