        I have not really cosehn what kind of specialists I would like to work under, but I do believe that it would be fun to work in a Psychiatrist’s office.       Chakrasana (wheel pose) stretches the trunk region of the body thereby helps in elongation of the body from the stomach region. It relaxes the stiff muscles of the back and the sides.       yoga can increase height. trust me. There are asans which involve stretching of your body. Google it. you will find it. Yoga increases height. I have witnessed it in a cousin of me. Maintain a healthy diet, sleep well, and stay hydrated. Calcium and protein help with growth. Do exercises that include hanging from a bar.

    I used to hang from a bar for increasing my height and one day i was simply browsing about will hanging really helps to increase and i found so many No’S .I was confused and dropped hanging from a bar as they said it was only a waste of time .i also read that it will increase your height while you are hanging and you will be back to the same height if you stop hanging.But you mentioned hanging helps to gain height. :S !!
    Do you know if some one increased height by hanging ? :S

            soak some almonds and only one fig overnight and take it with the glass of milk and try to get some dry nuts as well but try to drink 12 glasses of water through out the day. Eat as much breakfast as you can up to fill. This makes your metabolism* strong. Try to eat less meal but after every 2-3 hours. The most important point is to sleep well. It is the dark or night time that matters for your growth. As muscles grow in dark only. Try to sleep in absolute dark or least light to make your muscles relax and they will grow well. Try to keep your head and neck as much straight as possible. Your spinal cord will suppress your height increase if you bow your head most of the time.       Do stretching exercises daily. Eat two raw eggs with milk daily. Play sports like football, especially basketball which increases height. Do cycling and skipping daily. Practice and learn swimming. Run for miles daily. Hang for at least 10 minutes daily. Do at least 8-10 pull-ups daily. Eat green leafy vegetables like spinach. Eat food rich in proteins and calcium like peas, beans, pulses, bananas, milk, eggs, white meat, cod liver oil, fish, nuts, etc.
      Also, a good sleep of 8-10 hours a day, helps growth hormones to function properly..

      Jumping rope is a great exercise for your legs. Yet another good exercise regime to grow taller are Yoga stretches, the are really good for helping your spine to lengthen. Yoga is excellent for the body as a whole, not just the spine, it helps to strengthen and increase suppleness. Some specific exercises that are great for height increase include stretches such as the Cat, the Wheel, the Cobra and the Bow. Even the basic yoga exercises are great for the spine and height increase. Do not masturbate. Do not drink/smoke. Do not do weight lifting.
      The main sources of protein are milk and milk products, meat, fish, fowl, eggs, nuts, cereals and pulses. Milk and milk products, roasted groundnuts, and Bengal-gram are good sources of inexpensive protein enjoyed by children. One should not eat a large meal within two hours of going to sleep. The body releases the greatest amount of growth hormone during the first two hours of sleep. If a large meal is taken, then excess insulin is released within the system and this suppresses the output of growth hormone, preventing the body from taking advantage of it with rest. Spinal column is crucial to your growth enhancing success. In order to ensure that the vertebrae and the cushions function properly, the backbone should be massaged daily with medicated oils such as Aswagandhadi taila. First and the most common is to exercise and do morning walk. This makes you grow well.
      2 Eat as much breakfast as you can up to fill. This makes your metabolism* strong. Try to eat less meal but after every 2-3 hours. The most important point is to sleep well. It is the dark or night time that matters for your growth. As muscles grow in dark only. Try to sleep in absolute dark or least light to make your muscles relax and they will grow well.

            bar hanging, dry land swim, pelvic shift, cobra stretch, super cobra stretch, hopping with one leg, pilates roll over, forward spine stretch, cat stretch, the bow down, forward bend, spot jump, the bridge, swimming, jumping, sprints, running these all exercises help to increase height.

      Just hang on a hanging bar. Swing your body forward and backward till your hands are tired. Try to do this for at least 1-2 minutes and gradually increase it into 2-3 minutes. Repeat the step 3 for 3 times or say 3 repetitions.

      Skipping/Basketball: One of the popular exercises to increase height. Jumping increases blood supply as well as exerts addtional pressure on the long bones of the body to grow in length and mass.
      Vertical Hanging: Hanging is one of the simple but most powerful exercises to increase height. It extends the cartilages in the vertebrae and make them grow, which ultimately leads to extension of the spine.
      Vertical Bend: Standing with your legs slightly apart, bend down and try to touch the floor. This will flex your spine and enable it to grow in length. Initially, try to touch the floor and gradually, try to place your palm completely on the floor without bending your knees.
      Cobra Pose: Lie down flat on the floor with your chest facing down. Keeping your upper body still, lift your upper body and try to stretch as much as possible (like a cobra). Hold for 15-20 seconds. This is a very powerful exercise to stretch the upper body.
      Standing Side Bend: Standing vertically on your feet kept flat on the floor, slowly bend your body sideways and stretch as fat as your can. Hold for 15 seconds. Then repeat with the other side of the body.
      Lastly do not ignore the skipping and hanging these 2 are the most important physical activites which gave you better result in less time.

      you should started playing for fun and fitness with friends basketball. Its jumping to heights, swimming on free time. And taking some sport food suplements, mostly Whey Proteins (not too much) with milk . And hanging morning and evening 10-15 minutes with relaxation intervals on hands and on legs.
      Always remain in a good posture. particularly while standing, do not stoop. Eat a healthy diet. Avoid junk food. No need to be anxious about what you eat or following a strict diet chart. anxiety doesn’t help. stay relax. Start following a daily exercise routine. Including some exercises which involve strething your body Sleep well. At least 8 hours good sleep. maintain a sleeping routine. height increases more while sleeping, some studies say so. IThey suggest that growth hormones secretion rate is highest while one is asleep.

    Hi! I’m 16 years old (just turned 16) 167cm and 49kg I really want to be 172-175cm. I eat fairly well and exercise such as swimming, bike riding and general walking and sleep about 8-10 hours every night. My doctor says that my growth plates are starting to close but within the span of 4 months from my visit to the doctor my height went from 166.3 to 167.5 so i was wondering if there’s anyway for me to maximise the little time i have left and grow to 172 at least ??
