What attracts somebody to your personality is your appearance and among the appearance the first thing noticed by people is your height. It is usually believed that no matter how average looking you are in terms of features and complexion, if your height is taller then you make a very impressive personality. The necessity of having a tall height becomes, even more, essential in men and boys for whom the ideal image is that of a tall person. However, taller women look equally good too. There come a grace and class in taller heights. This is why people take different sorts of medicines for increasing height which come with their own adverse consequences. Hence, the best way of getting taller is doing some effective exercises which are characteristically prescribed and intended for this purpose. In case you are short height or medium weighted and want to gain weight then here are a few tips on exercises which can help you massively and without any side effects.
1. Healthy diet routine
When you are in your teens that is the time when most of the height growth take place. Hence, you should take keen care of your diet if you are a teenager and are growing up. Take the proper amount of proteins, calcium and minerals and carbohydrates in order to provide your body, muscles and bones enough to make up for the growth part and so that your growth takes place completely. Nutrient deficiency can lead to stunted and incomplete growth which itself is an issue. Take the maximum amount of Vitamin D because this the important for the growth of plates.
2. Stretching exercises
Yoga, stretching exercises and free hand exercise is few of them which help to increase height. In the case of height increasing, one must do a lot of stretching. This is because when you stretch your body you are actually giving room to your muscles and this is how your bones and body grow. Hence for increasing heights all sorts of stretching exercises are ideal.
3. Bar hanging
When it comes to exercise bar hanging from height gives your body a good and thorough stretching. Since all parts of your body are pulled down by gravity while you cling to a height the body muscles elongate increasing your height massively and in proportion. Hanging for some minutes every day can bring about some fabulous results.
Swimming also increases your height to a great extent and very drastically. It is recommended that if you swim for about 5 hours daily you will be stretching your body and hence elasticity shall develop increasing your height to a great extent. The best swimming style for increasing height is the Breaststroke. In it, you are actually stressing your entire body to stretch and increase in height. So learn swimming if you can’t swim.
Basketball is again a great sport and exercise for increasing height. What makes it an effective way to grow taller is the way each basket is done in which your body has to be stretched and the ball reaches the basket. Also, since it is an active sport and you stretch for the basket when the body is already in motion you shall get better and quicker results as stretching will be easy.
One of the popular exercises to increase height is jumping it increases blood supply as well as exerts additional pressure on the long bones of the body to grow in length and mass. Other than this Dry Land Swim, Pelvic Shift, Cobra Stretch, Super Cobra Stretch, Hopping with One Leg, Pilates Roll Over, Forward Spine Stretch, Cat Stretch, The Bow Down, Forward Bend, Spot Jump, Hands on the Head Bow Down, Super Stretch, Wall Stretch, Straight Legs Up, Two Straight Legs Up, Downhill, The Table, The Bridge, Ankle Weights, Alternate Leg Kick, Swimming, jogging, running, Rope Skipping, Sprints add these exercises to your daily routine.
