I was enjoying the big, grand birthday party of my dearest friend – we danced, laughed and did all the crazy possible stuff; it was a new year night as well so we thought to hop till we drop. Rocking music, delicious food and champagne, what else would anyone ask for, if friends are there too. The next morning I looked something less than what you call alive; well, I am surely not the only one who is sleep deprived. Due to one reason for the other, many seem to have disturbed sleep cycles – the life these days is very tough, extremely occupied and full of commitments.

Well, I am sure that you would be going through this phase – I am even talking about those suffering insomnia, it is a pain. Ah, if you are sleepless, definitely it has nothing to do with love. Whatever reason you would never like puffy eyes, prominent dark circles and a dull face, it all shows how sleep deprived you are. Interestingly, one always go through this phase of life; even kids do during exams. However, if due to work stress or haphazard routine you are prone to such a case, you must deal with it, bravely. I am sharing my few, essential tips that would help you to look more awake instantly. You can now easily avoid the questions thrown to you each time – what happened; you look stressed, sleepy – blah and blah!
Drink as much water as possible:
Have you ever thought how do celebrities manage to look gorgeous and fantastic all the time? They sometime work for a consecutive 48 hours but still so fresh? They drink lots of water. I am not referring to 6 to 8 glass here. A lot of water means continuous intake of water. In addition, your head must be in an elevated position while sleeping. At the same time, you must cut down of slat and other sugary substances. Avoid taking too much sweet drinks; in fact, drink water or fresh juice without artificial flavors and sugar.
What is the homework for skin?
Never let your skin get dehydrated – you must always keep it fresh and lively. Use good night creams, serums and cleanse it properly each night before going to bed. It would bring out best possible results. However, make sure you do not pile up too much face cream otherwise; pores would not get fresh oxygen for growth.
Pay attention to the eyes:
Once you get up each morning, give your eyes their breakfast. Look for some good branded eye creams (masks) which help in providing nutrition to sensitive circular regions. If not that, use cold, dried tea bags and give your eyes proper massage. It would just require twenty minutes but give flawless results.
You can even do some great exercises that help blood to reach the eye circular regions. Em, you can do downward dog pose or hang upside down to accomplish this goal. Keep in mind, circulation of blood would help in keeping the damp dark circles away.
Use of make up:
You must use a good quality concealer to cover up the dulling effect – obviously, you cannot throw away all the tiring effects just like that but you can always hide what you want to. After applying concealer, you must use a good, shimmery bronze also – this would provide final change and help the eye area glow. Further, use eye pencil and eye mascara to provide the deep and hot look.
I can bet you would instantly look fresher each morning, even if you have not enjoyed any good dream last night.
