You should be gentle and kind towards your hair because once they are damaged, they take a good time to retain their stability. In order to avoid the unconditional brutality, you must ponder over the mentioned pointers and learn from them.
- Tight elastics – Bad idea:
Trust me if you are the using a plain rubber elastic hair tie, you are a true hair murderer. Don’t believe that a tight pony would help you keep your hair in order or stuff like that, there are lots of ways of doing so. You can use bobby pins or hair bands in order to give a neat look to the hair style. Always use fabric covered hair ties, they can easily come out of the hair without even breaking a single strand. In contrast, the plain rubber tie everytime brings a good amount of hair along. Also, never make too tight braids or ponytails, they are very damaging and would cause breakage and nothing else.
- Say no to old styling tools:
What’s the point of using those hair styling tools which are not your cup of tea? I mean seriously, I have seen many playing with the blow dry brush and making stupid strokes all over the hair; they end up messing with it and this leads to hair breakage. Therefore, try to use simple brushes or combs which you can handle. Other than this, the cleanliness of the hair brushes or combs also play an essential role in this respect. Whenever you are done brushing, you should remove the hair strands stuck in it. Also, once in 30 days you should clean the hair brush with water and baking soda so that it gets germs free.
- Application of chemicals
You might want to look good and stylish by applying hair colors and other chemicals, but in race of doing so, you totally ignore the fact that your hair is really sensitive. Too much chemical makes them dead and other related issues start to come up. So, it is advised to establish preempt care whenever considering to undergo any chemical reaction on the hair.
- Heating hair:
The hair contains its natural moisture and shine; however, overheating it via straightener or curler, you make it dead because it loses the real charm. The hair than beg for more moisture and care, but the dead look does not leave it anyway. So, it is recommended to use such products on a very low range.
- Stretched period between hair cuts:
Well, even if you want to grow your hair really long, you should not skip hair trimming. Yes, getting hair cut after 2 months is very essential for better hair. This helps in getting rid of the dead ends and thus provides shine and glamour to the hair.
- Avoiding the use of heat protectant:
For those who are fond of putting the hair into heat must, without any thought. Apply good quality heat protectant. This would help in reducing the amount of damage otherwise.
- Aggressive brushing:
Never brush if your hair is wet or you can see too many locks inside. Try to be as gentle as you can; also, brushing directly from the roots can cause a lot of damage, so take care of these sensitive touch points.
